Sometimes the Weather Man isn't right...

This weekend was suppose to be a total washout (literally...rain everywhere) and instead, it was gorgeous on Saturday for Beckie and Andre's wedding and it was beautiful and sunny this morning for my engagement session up in Ipswich. As it was quite the hectic weekend, I am still sorting through a lot of photos, but I was able to grab one that stood out to me from the engagement session this morning. I just love the mood of this photo and thought I would at least give everyone an sampling from the weekend before I get around to uploading more photos.

So as always, enjoy! A LOT more the come soon....

Mexico

I finally made it around to editing a few favorites from my trip to Mexico. There was a lot of photos to go through, so this may be the first round of many. When I left, I told myself that I really wanted to try to capture bright, bold colors, whether that be in floral, the ocean, sky or architecture...looking through, I think I did a pretty good job! Mexico was great and I look forward to going back some day to explore the little towns and villages that I only briefly got a glimpse of while I was there...after all, this past vacation was all about relaxation.

Enjoy!

Moody Monday

...that's how I feel today. Rain = ick.

BUT, despite the weather, there is one bit of excitement to my day and that is getting to share some more beautiful photos from Liz and Tim's engagement session last weekend. They wanted more of an "urban jungle" (or so I like to call it - it makes me think of America's Next Top
Model), so we started at Fenway Park and then moved over to the other side of the River for some skyline shots in the magic light.

ENJOY...and rain rain go away....

Spring Sunset

Although it doesn't quite feel like Spring, it is finally here. Wedding season is just around the corner and over the next few months, there are going to be a lot of new and exciting changes coming, so stay posted!

I am still in total catch up mode from both my vacation and the WPPI tradeshow and I PROMISE to have some beautiful vacation photos to share sometime soon. In the meantime, I'll leave you with my favorite shot from yesterday's engagement session with Liz and Tim...more to follow in a few days!

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

While sadly I have no pictures to post today (which I hate doing), I think it will be okay because I'll have MORE than enough to share when I get back from my trip!!!

I have been looking forward to this trip since last summer and it is finally here. I promise to share everything with you, along with hopefully some spectacular photography when I return.

Additionally, I promise to have some exciting and new products (along with Album samples!!! I know many of my couples have been waiting to see them) that I will be introducing in 2008 that will be announced shortly after I return from the WPPI tradeshow.

Adiós and see you all in two weeks!

March 8th - 16th: Playa del Carma, Mexico!!!

Wintery White Wedding

It may have been snowy and cold outside, but it was warm and cozy at the Quonset Club in North Kingstown, RI where Heather and Derek said their vows on Saturday. Helping out fellow photographer Mike from MKD Photography, here is a sampling from the day.

Biting the Bullet

Anyone who knows me is very aware of my fear of being in front of the camera. Behind the camera taking the photographs is where I belong. It was time though to finally overcome my fear, dive in and just have my stupid picture taken! After all, I need something for my website (I think I've had "image coming soon" for about 4 months now!)

So I finally did it...and I am SO thrilled! My fabulous friend and fellow photographer Paulette of Say Pickles could not have done a more fantastic job. I am so happy (and damn! She made me look good!). Thank you thank you thank you Paulette!

Here is a small sampling, all images courtesy of Say Pickles:
